Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

So Its December and Lily is excited for Santa and I am excited for Chandler as she will be 3 months old.. Gosh where does the time go with my little ones. So grateful that Chandler is such a good baby. A happy baby :)  She sleeps well and hardly ever fusses unless she is super tired or needs her Acid Reflux meds.On another note Lindsey our elf on the shelf arrived today. I do not think that Lily got it at first but I put together a little video for her and she does understand now. Here are some up-to-date pictures of the girls. They went to see Santa. Thankful For

Day 2: I am thankful for my mother. God put her on this earth to watch over all the people that she does and provides for. She gives onto others more than she does herself. Yes, she was hard on me at times & I now understand why as I am mother now. I share everything with her, my life stories, my hardships and triumphs. She is my best friend & I am proud to say that she is. Most people do not have that, and I am truly grateful for her and all that she does for my family.

Much Needed Update

Well since the last time I posted we welcomed our beautiful second daughter Chandler Reese. Everything went really smooth in the OR and she came into this world on Sept 17th @ 831am weight 8lbs 12oz and 21 inches long. Ever since being home she has been a true joy. Lily is a wonderful help and I am so proud of her being a big sister. I cannot beleive she is almost 2 months old which is just crazy. Seems like just yesterday. We had our annual Halloween party with the kiddos which is always fun. We went as the Brave family which is possibly lilys favo movie. Chandler is not sleeping through the night but she sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time give or take. Which is okay with me. Better than the every 2 hours that we had when we were first born. Anyway- pictures of the girls and the journeys we have been blessed with.

Updates, Updates, Updates

So a lot has happened since I have posted last. Lily has gone one week already for 3 year old pre-school. It was her first time ever and it was a success. She loved it and I can already tell that some of the things that they are implementing in the classroom is carrying over to here (such as sitting at the table till you are finished, which is always a struggle) Our basement is slowly but surely getting finished. Its a long process but it will be finished in time. Chandlers room is completed with the exception of the crown molding in which I am not worried about.

We went through car line today instead of me walking her in, she loved it. I just hope it goes as smooth as when Kevin takes her when I am here with the new little one, which by the way is only  5 days away. I cannot even think what our household is going to be like with 2 kids, 5 dogs, and 2 parents in grad school and the specialist program.  Yes my little ones, I am taking two classes this semester so that I can get finished. It has not been easy as I am getting more tired and having to complete all of my work here for the next few weeks early. :( but it will all be worth it in the end.

Updates

So we will be 33 weeks tomw :) I am so excited that I only have 6 more weeks and we will get to meet Chandler. Hopefully these next 6 weeks will go smoothly. Lily cannot wait either. She is excited that she will also get to meet her little sister.

 32 Weeks

We have gone to the beach recently and lily just loved it. We went to hilton head where she got to play in the sand and go in the ocean. Chandler is doing good too & so am I. I have gained 9lbs so far and I hope to cut it off around 15-18lbs. Will be a whole lot easier to lose that way :) Lily will start 3 year old pre-school in Sept in which she cannot wait. It will be good for her to finally go to school and be with other kids. My best friend Mariann and her mother just threw Chandler a "baby sprinkle" in which it was absolutely awesome. They outdid themselves and I am truly grateful for a wonderful friend.

24 Weeks

So I am 24 weeks. Getting closer & closer to the big day. We have started cleaning out part of the basement in which we will finish it to make it an office/playroom. We of course since my office is the babys soon to be room have not started, I think Ill paint a wall today. Anyway, miss Chandler is kicking away and I have had the joys of severe acid reflux which is the worst feeling ever. I go to the dr this next week to do my glusose test (fun) Praying that all goes well.

21 weeks

So I will be 21 weeks this Saturday. I can still wear one pair of my regular jeans :) Super excited about that. I am feeling great. My next appointment I will get to drink the oh so wonderful drink.. I had orange last time and this time I have red.... "wonder what it taste like" Kevin had to have a biometric screnning done for his work as a state worker.. Fun that I had to go in at 5 months pregnant and have them measure my belly and weigh me (even though I have still lost 2lbs from my day I found out) no weight gain so far :) Needless to say I made them mark down on all my papers that I was 5 months pregnant.. Lily will kiss my belly and tell her hello which just makes my heart melt, she also has gotten to feel her kick which shocked her at first but she always ask " is Chandler moving?" I think she is going to be a great big sister :)
