Baby Check Up

So Kevin & I went to my 35/36 week check up. All was good with miss Lillian. She is head down which was good to hear! I took my Group B Strep test and I will get the results back in a couple of days.

My hands & feet have been more swolen lately so I have been trying to keep my feet up and not eat as many things that contain salt which is sometimes hard to do. I also work at a desk everyday so it is hard on my little hands as the doctor told me today. BP was really good still 112/64. Lily's heartrate was great. She is a little kicker now more then usual & geeze sometimes it really hurts. Kevin and I are going to put her carseat in the car probably at the end of this week. It seems like everything is just right around the corner and we are just waiting on her arrival. Kevin's Aunt just did her letters & I am going to paint them. The letters were carved from a tree that Kevin's Papa cut down which I thought was kinda neat. I was going to pay about $80.00 for them but I was like ughhh no. But if you are looking for some you can go to "The Alphabet Boutique." Other then that I am going to put some pictures up of when her room is finally complete.

33/34 week check up

Okay, so we went to the doctor this morning and Lily is doing great. My blood pressure was 100/72 & my iron was really good too.
We have only gained 17lbs which I thought was really low for being 33 weeks but they said as long as I am eating well and she is growing there are no worries. I am eating... trust I just get full really easy.

Kevin and I go back on the 29th of December for another appointment. We are so excited that the days are counting down.

Family Photo

So Kevin and I took some family photos to go on our Christmas Cards. My mom came by and took them before we headed off to my final shower in Summerville, GA. with Kevins side of the family. I am a little over 32 weeks here.

Lily's 3D Images

Thanks to Kristin telling me about Baby's first images Kevin and I went to have our little one filmed. It was amazing. She just kept moving and putting her wrist, hands, and feet in her mouth.

I cannot wait till she gets here!!! Its been a true blessing to have had such a healthy pregnancy so far.

Belly at 30 weeks

So I wanted to put up of the belly pic at 30 weeks. Well tomw will be 30 weeks anyway. We go to our 3d imaging on Sunday which I know should be fun. I am drinking all the water I am supposed to. I will put them up as soon as I get them.

The Start of Lillians Room

So I wanted to put some pictures of the start of lilys room. Its a work in progress

So far we have 3 things up and we still have blinds, curtains, light fixture and a bunch more.

So I went to get my glucose test done and it was not that bad at all. I told kevin it was like drinking his grandmothers cool-aid with like 5 cups of sugar & a little bit thicker. Anyway, I am hoping there are no bad phone calls today or tomw. I was going to go walk about 2 miles in Bentwater and I woke up last night with another cramp that felt like my lower leg was about to fall off. This has happened twice since I have been pregnant & I try to drink enough water. I could feel my muscle just go in and out. The worst pain ever & it was in the other leg this time. So I am drinking glass after glass today and hopefully I will be able to walk tomw. Other then that everything is fine. Kevin and I are slowly working on her nursery & I am excited to put up the chair rail molding and get her crib together.

Okay so I have been asked to put an updated belly pic. Here is the belly at 24 weeks. Yes, it looks small as I have been told a lot but she is healthy & to size. Yes, I have my pj christmas pants on too. They are very very comfortable.

6 month Review

Well Kevin & I went to Lindsey's wedding and had a blast. It was in Hogansville at the Victoria Belle which was a drive away but it was all worth it. Everything was beautiful. Days and months are counting down. I fit into my dress that I had about a year ago which was exciting that I did not have to buy a new one.

Ok so yesterday mom and dad came over and gave Kevin and I a surprise. They bought Lily's bed set ((YEA))

I was so excited I cried. They have done so much for Kevin & I. Dad is extending our deck for us so its a lot bigger.

All in all everything is coming together. Her little room is under construction with being painted and the chair rail modling about to be put up.

Back to the Doctor 20wks 4 days

So Kevin & I went back to the doctor to get another ultrasound. We were going to do 3D imagining but little Lily kept putting her hands in her face. It was a little more detailed this time because she was older. She kept moving her feet and kicking as well we saw her open her mouth like she was tired or something. It was really neat. Overall she is healthy and I go back for a a 20 week apt on Friday.

ITS A GIRL

So kevin and I went for our first ultra sound & we found out that baby hammitt was a little girl. We are so excited. I also found out that they pushed me back 2 weeks due to the size of her so I will be due on Jan 30th. We were really happy to see all of her little features. Her little nose & lips were so vivid on the screen. We get another sonogram on Sept and we will have the 3d images done.


Her name is Lillian Grahm Hammitt "Lily"

Went To The Doc

Ok so I went to the doctor today because yesterday I was really cramping on my left hand side. This morning I called my doctor and they told me to rest and take some Tylenol to see if I felt any better before they tried to get me to come in. So around 2pm I was still having a little bit of pain and we found ut that it was just "round ligament" pain. Basically my belly is starting to grow a little more and my body is feeling it. Baby Hammitt's heart was nice and strong and I was in good condition. Cannot wait till next tuesday. The countdown begins.

Tired & Thinking

Ok, so I have been working for the majority of the day and I cannot stop thinking about my doctor's appt on the 18th. Kevin & I find out what baby hammitt is and we also have our first ultrasound. I am nervous but overjoyed at the same time. I have not felt the little one yet but they say that it is normal. Hopefully I will be able to fell either him or her before the big day.

Baby Hammitt 16 weeks

So I went to my doctor yesterday in which Kevin could not be there due to him having Teacher Orientation for Paulding County. My sister went with me and we got to hear baby hammitts heart beat again for the 2nd time. It is such a blessing to hear such a beautiful sound. I have finally come to the realization that I cannot button some of my most favorite pairs of pants. I mean I can but it's not very comfortable. Kevin and I go back on the 18th to have our first ultrasound and to see if our little one is a boy or a girl. Hopefully everything will go along smoothly & there will be no complications from here on out.
